Jim has been involved in music since his early childhood. Jim first played played guitar at the age of 12, but played clarinet & saxophone in his high school years. Through the years, Jim has continued to hone his talents by studying under several guitar, sax & vocal instructors - shaping him to be a more versatile musician.
For over thirty years Jim has worked in the music scene in the Metro Detroit area. His past experiences include jazz, fusion. rock & blues, Top 40 and wedding bands.
